Economist specialized in data collection and management, with extensive experience in structural statistics and economic analysis of Italian and Mediterranean fisheries. She holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Salerno. She began her career in 1996 at IREPA, working on the collection, processing and analysis of economic data on the Italian fishing fleet. She has collaborated with FAO as a consultant for economic studies on fisheries in developing countries and has participated in numerous national and international projects related to the implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy, market analysis and socio-economic dependency assessments. Since 2013 she has been a founding partner and researcher at NISEA, where she contributes to the development of analyses and indicators supporting fisheries policy. She coordinated the Work Package on socio-economic data within the National Fisheries Data Collection Programme and, within STECF, has participated in several working groups, coordinating the Mediterranean section of the Annual Economic Report on the EU fishing fleet.
