Economist specialized in fisheries data collection, management and analysis, with extensive experience in bio-economic modelling and impact assessment. He holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Salerno. He began his career in 2001 at IREPA and, since 2003, has been involved in the European programme for fisheries data collection and analysis, with a particular focus on the Italian fishing fleet. From 2006 to 2009 he was an Associate Researcher at the Centre for the Economics and Management of Aquatic Resources (CEMARE), University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom), where he further developed his expertise in socio-economic analysis and aquatic resource management. Since 2013 he has been a founding partner and researcher at NISEA, contributing to the development of bio-economic models, impact assessment studies of fisheries management measures, and economic analyses of Italian and Mediterranean fisheries. He participates in numerous national and international projects, supporting the development of tools and methodologies for fisheries policy.
