Economist specialized in data collection and management, with extensive experience in applied research at national and international level and in scientific support to fisheries policy. She holds a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Salerno and began her career in 1999 at IREPA, participating in national and international research projects. Since 2005 she has been involved in the collection and analysis of socio-economic data under the National Data Collection Programme (DCF/EUMAP) for both the fishing fleet and the fish processing industry. She collaborated with FAO on studies analysing fish trade in the Mediterranean in 2001 and 2010. Since 2013 she has been a founding partner and researcher at NISEA, where she works on stakeholder engagement, impact assessment and value chain analysis, also contributing to RCGECON working groups with coordination roles, particularly in the areas of capital evaluation and fish processing. She was a member of the Scientific, Technical and Economic Committee for Fisheries (STECF) of the European Commission from 2009 to 2019 and is currently Chair of the STECF Expert Working Group on Fish Processing. Since 2025 she has been a member of the Bureau of the European Association of Fisheries Economists (EAFE).
