Description
The analysis of production structures and the socio – economic characteristics of Italian fishing communities consists of four phases:
Phase 1: Review of the literature on the main socio-economic indicators and reference points applied in fishery
Phase 2: Data collection and analysis of socio-economic indicators and reference points by fishing communities
Phase 3: Study of the socio-economic structure of the local economies and the impact of the main management measures implemented under the New Fisheries Policy
Phase 4: Qualitative analysis – formulation and distribution of the questionnaires to stakeholders
